A couple of Boerne ISD boys basketball teams played at the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Boys Showcase recently in the Dallas area.
The Boerne High boys team, dubbed the Texas Tropics, went undefeated at the tournament and finished 3-0 in their bracket.
The Champion boys team posted a 1-2 mark at the event.
There were 488 boys teams entered at the tourney that went Friday through Sunday at several different venues around the Dallas area.
Boerne High, or Texas Tropics, beat Abilene Cooper, 42-24, Alvin, 53-41 and Port Neches Groves, 57-48.
The Chargers defeated Keller Timber Creek, 51-28, and lost to Clear Springs, 58-49, and to Arlington Martin, 63-51.
