LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. 7:11 a.m., 1900 block of FM 1376 — A woman reported a male driving around in a white van with temporary plates, following her. The caller was further concerned because of some phone calls she had received.
12:16 p.m., 500 block of Sixth Street — A caller reported a vehicle parked in the street with a male occupant who seemed to be either asleep or unconscious with a can in his hand. The caller was unsure how long he had been there.
12:39 p.m., on N. Highway 87 — A caller reported her purse had been stolen from her vehicle in the past two hours.
3:51 p.m., on Staudt Street — A caller reported a male in the area had scammed him out of $200.
4:52 p.m., on Doeskin Drive — A woman called in reported that a male had stolen $1,000 from her bank account.

7:46 a.m., mile marker 538 W. Interstate 10 — A passing motorist reported an accident that resulted in two vehicles in a ditch. One of the vehicles required a jump start. Law enforcement managed the traffic while the situation was handled.
8:38 a.m., mile marker 524 W. I-10 — A cow looking to make her presence known went for a walk in the middle of the interstate.
10:59 a.m., mile marker 528 E. I-10 — A two-vehicle accident occurred. One occupant reported experiencing neck pain. A semi-truck swerved to avoid the accident and briefly went into the median. An ambulance was called for medical support.
3:25 p.m., 100 block of Monarca Boulevard — A caller reported an ongoing issue of people trespassing into the pool. The caller said that the pool was private and intended only for the neighborhood’s use.

7:19 a.m., 10000 block of Johns Road —— A caller reported all of the mailboxes down the road had been opened and emptied.
10:22 a.m., Stone Wall Drive — A staff member reported a raccoon at the location was possibly rabid and dying.
3:30 p.m., mile marker 526 W. I-10 — A caller reported a vehicle had been abandoned on the side of the road, with its hazard lights on and doors open. Law enforcement came to the location and detained a male found at the scene

3:56 a.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 — A disabled vehicle was reported. Law enforcement was called to the location and conducted a field sobriety test.
6:38 a.m., Scenic Loop Road — A surveillance company notified law enforcement of a vehicle at a location, unsure if anyone was supposed to be there. Law enforcement checked out the location but were unable to find the vehicle.
9:25 a.m., Llano Court — A caller reported receiving a scam call saying she had to pay $7,500 for missing jury duty. Luckily the caller hadn’t paid the scammer anything.
10:45 a.m., 100 block of Waring-Welfare Road — A cow was just hanging out on the side of the road in udder shock at the weekend’s heat wave.
6:55 p.m., 700 block of FM 289 — Multiple callers reported their vehicles had been broken into and items stolen from their vehicles.
8:16 p.m., 600 block of FM 474 — A woman reported her boyfriend struck her, leaving her injured and bleeding. The male had also gotten out a knife and threatened the caller. An ambulance was called to provide medical assistance to the caller. The male was located by law enforcement and detained.

11:10 a.m., on Alzafar Road — A caller reported someone was shooting and didn’t seem to be paying attention to where the shots were being fired. The caller said rounds were ricocheting off of trees.
12:15 p.m., 100 block of Fawn Lane — A caller reported a female stole items from him and wouldn’t return them.
1:50 p.m., mile marker 531 W. I-10 — An 18-wheeler’s tires caught fire. A caller told dispatch they had attempted to extinguish the fire, but it kept starting back up. The fire spread to the rest of the trailer. Comfort FD was called to handle the situation.
11:47 p.m., 200 block of River Road — A male was pulled over and his vehicle was searched. The male was detained and a wrecker was called for his vehicle.
MAY 27
12:23 a.m., 100 block of Comfort Valley Lane — A caller reported there was a vehicle at her father’s house. She said there should not be any vehicles at the location.
6:00 p.m., Main Street/River Road — A caller reported their car was struck by another vehicle. The caller provided dispatch with as much information about the other vehicle as possible as it was driving away.
6:44 p.m., 900 block of E Highway 46 — A goat was in the road, trying to determine which Memorial Day picnic it wanted to attend.
9:39 p.m., on N. Highway 87 — A caller was initially concerned after someone knocked on his door and said they were there to pick up a trailer. Some brief investigating was done and it was found that there was a mix-up.

9:57 a.m., 400 block of Kreutzberg Road — A caller wanted law enforcement to come out to the location to discuss some people who came to the location at closing time the previous evening.
12:49 p.m., 100 block of Ulmus — A caller reported her credit card had been stolen. She had co-signed on a vehicle for a friend and the friend was no longer making payments.
2:51 p.m., on Staudt Street — A caller reported that he was approached by someone about his driving. The person identified himself as being with the KCSO, and the caller was unsure if the person was legit or scammed.
4:33 p.m., 300 block of Someday Drive — A caller reported she paid someone for their services but had not received the full services.
4:56 p.m., 400 block of Wild Turkey Boulevard — A caller reported that his Nest camera was stolen over the weekend.
