Lemonade flavors the Hill Country Mile

Seventy-five lemonade booths went up over the weekend, part of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce’s young entrepreneur push. More than 200 youths manned the booths, selling a variety of lemonade of all favors, from behind decorative booths that lined the Hill Country Mile and spots throughout Boerne and Fair oaks Ranch.

The chamber released winners of the 2024 Boerne Lemonade Day contests. They are:

Youth Entrepreneur of the Year First place: Seeds of Grace, Bethany Aguilar.

Second place: The Lemon Lab, Tobias and Evangeline Rivas, Third place: Squeeze the Day, Olivia Gruner, Allison Fly and Erin Schulle.

Best Lemonade Stand First place: Little Ladies Lemonade, Maddison and Lyanna Pheifer.

Second place: Lemons & Giggles, Blakely Zamora, Evie Phillips and Juleen Virnau.

Third place: Edens Garden, Eden Chacon.

Best Tasting Lemonade

(Tasting was performed May 2 during the chamber’s “Best Tasting Competition”) First place: Liam Bryant, with Liam’s Lemonade R Us.

Second place: Amelia Buller, with Lovely Lemons and Treats.

Third place: Beckham Goode, with Mr. Golden Sun’s Lemonade.
