Both girls and boys golf teams at Geneva School of Boerne advanced to the state finals after their performances at regionals.
This year’s state tourney is April 29-30 in Glen Rose.
The Geneva boys won the 4A TAPPS South regional tournament by six strokes with a team score of 319. The team consists of Jace Hulett, who was named all-tournament medalist with a score of 70 for a one-under par.
Other team members include Jack Harden who placed fourth, along with Win Crawford, Kyler Parnell and Wyatt Bruss.
The Geneva girls finished fourth to advance to state with a team score of 434. The team consists of Suzi Nilsson and Grace Doan who tied for 9th overall, along with Ella Sorrells, Peylin Dennis and Amelia Carmines.
