THE BOERNE CHAMBER will hold ribbon- cutting ceremonies at 11: 30 a. m. for Core Athletic Club, 1580 River Road, to celebrate its five-year anniversary; and at 4 p.m. for Happy State Bank, 1689 River Road to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.

COMFORT GARDEN CLUB’S annual Plant and Bake Sale runs from 8 a.m. until sold out, usually by noon. The sale takes place at Seventh and High streets; proceeds from the sale will benefit local non-profits. OUTDOOR FAMILY FAIR by Boerne Parks and Recreation at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. The Fair, which runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., connects families with community- focused services and organizations. Families learn about resources and organizations in the Boerne area. Entertainment and fun for all ages. WILD GAME DINNER: Join St. John Lutheran Church of Boerne at the Kendall County Youth Ag r i c u l t u re and Equestrian Cent e r, 648 FM 289 in Comfor t, for the annual wild game dinner. Doors open at 4 p. m. The event feat u res delicious wild game fare, door prizes, silent and live auctions, kids’ games and more. TEXAS ANTIQUES SHOW occurs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Comfort Park, sponsored by Texas Presentations. The multi-vendor has an admission of $5 per person. MUSIC IN CAVE Without A Name: Joseph Kuipers, cello, is joined by Byron Burns on guitar to perform “Miniatures & Folklore,” a journey through beloved gems of classical, folk and popular tunes for cello and guitar. FIVE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY party for Core Athletic Club as their way of saying thank you to their patrons. Core Athletic Club, 1580 River Road, invites everyone to join them from 2- 6 p. m. for their anniversary par ty. Several local businesses will join them; there will be free beer, wine and snow cones, a bounce house and more.
HILL COUNTRY YOUTH Orchestra will be having its annual Spring Concert from 3-4:30 p.m. at Boerne Champion High School, 201 Charger Blvd. in Boerne. The concert, free and open to the public, will feature the HCYO youth playing a wide range of music from classical to modern tunes. FAREWELL PARTY FOR Dog & Pony: They may be closing but they’re going out partying, with a crawfish boil that starts at noon and live music from 3-6 p.m. at their location, at 1481 S. Main St. Bring the whole crew, grab a drink and toast to good times.
