TEXAS CORVETTE ASSOCIATION’S Open Car Show takes over downtown Boerne’s Main Plaza from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as more than 450 colorful Corvettes and other classic vehicles will line the historic Hill Country Mile and attract car enthusiasts and guests. Enjoy all that downtown Boerne has to offer while admiring beautiful vehicles.

“THE BIG SIT” is a stationary birdwatching event where a group sees how many different species of birds they can spot from within a 50-foot circle. Join the Great Texas Birding Classic team, Guad Squad, and count birds along with them. The event runs 9 a.m. to noon at Guadalupe River State Park, 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch. Interested? NATIVE PLANT SALE: The Boerne Chapter Native Plant Society of Texas will be back for their biannual Native Plant Sale, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road in Boerne. THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA of Great Britain takes the Champion High School auditorium stage at 7:30 p.m. for the Boerne Performing Arts season finale. The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain received international and critical acclaim as the most entertaining pluckers. Ranging between sincerity and insanity; punk rock sensibilities and restrained British humor, their catalog is a menagerie of rock, pop, jazz, blues and classical music — performed with humor and a flair for toe-tapping, and often twisted, renditions. OUTDOOR FAMILY FAIR by Boerne Parks and Recreation at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. The Fair, which runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., connects families with community-focused services and organizations. Families learn about resources and organizations in the Boerne area. Entertainment and fun for all ages.

WILD GAME DINNER: Join St. John Lutheran Church of Boerne at the Kendall County Youth Agriculture and Equestrian Center, 648 FM 289 in Comfort, for the annual wild game dinner. Doors open at 4 p.m. The event features delicious wild game fare, door prizes, silent and live auctions, kids’ games and more.
