LAW ENFORCEMENT 

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

MARCH 22

4:09 a.m., 1500 block of S. Main Street — A probable cause search resulted in two people getting detained. EMS had to be called due to a vomiting male.

7:44 a.m., on Parkway/Interstate 10 frontage road — Law enforcement was notified after a vehicle’s crash detection went active. Emergency services came to the location and found the driver had not been injured; however, the vehicle required a wrecker.

10:23 a.m., 100 block of Calk Lane — A woman came into the Boerne PD lobby to report someone had attempted to get a small business loan using her information.

6:28 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported two males left a store with two carts full of unpaid items. The caller also provided information about the vehicle they drove off in and which direction it went.

6:56 p.m., 20 block of Herff Road — An officer reported a stolen license plate was located on a vehicle in Boerne.

MARCH 23

8:00 a.m., 100 block of W. Advogt Street — A caller reported purses and jewelry had been stolen from a case at the location.

10:39 a.m., on Esser Road/River Road — A stolen license plate was reported on a vehicle.

2:00 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive — A caller wanted to report that while he was in town, he let his friend use his phone and his “friend”had stolen $1500 from him.

4:12 p.m., 1600 block of River Road — An employee reported two juvenile males were going on the property, despite being warned not to.

5:56 p.m., 200 block of S. Main Street — A male was reported to be intoxicated and disruptive at the location.

MARCH 24

12:00 a.m., 100 block of Katie Court — A caller reported she had just gotten home when she heard a bang on her garage door. An officer performed a check of the residence and did not find any suspicious activity.

11:20 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported an instance of fraud.

4:33 p.m., 100 block of City Park — A caller reported his wife’s vehicle was hit the previous week and he wanted to make a report.

10:23 p.m., mile marker 534, W. Interstate 10 — A caller reported he had been hit by an 18-wheeler. The driver told dispatch it felt like he had the air knocked out of him. Luckily the truck, which was carrying fuel, did not leak.

MARCH 25

12:58 a.m., mile marker 538, W. I-10 — Four people were detained during a traffic stop.

9:28 a.m., 1400 block of River Road — A caller reported a hit-and -run accident had occurred earlier that day. The caller provided information on the vehicle that drove away.

10:03 a.m., on River Road/Herff Road — A resident reported a vehicle’s driver claimed to be with a local telecommunications company. The caller suspected the vehicle was illegitimate.

11:29 a.m., 700 block of Oak Park Road — An out-of-state caller reported someone in the area was harassing them. The caller said the person had threatened to come to their state and hurt the caller and her family.

1:16 p.m., 500 block of E. Bandera Road — A female came into the lobby to report an online scam.

6:03 p.m., on Herff Road/River Road — A caller said she suspected her former significant other was driving drunk. The caller had interacted with him, and he began yelling and slurring his words.

MARCH 23

7:52 a.m., 100 block of Timber Trail — A caller requested assistance from animal control after they had trapped a cat.

2:29 p.m., N. Highway 87 — An accident occurred involving two vehicles. One of the involved parties was refusing to share their insurance information.

4:14 p.m., on Sky Rose Ranch Road — A caller reported that despite a posted “No ATVs” sign, someone had driven an ATV on the caller’s property. The caller said she had video of the incident.

6:41 p.m., 300 block of Wild Turkey Boulevard — A caller reported two males were taking target practice. The caller said they were shooting an AK-47 and shooting“hundreds of rounds.” Law enforcement came to the location and found no criminal offense was occurring.

11:51 p.m., 50 block of Cascade Caverns Road — A caller suspected a male on the side of the road was intoxicated or on drugs. Law enforcement located the male and found he was OK and was just out jogging with his dog.

MARCH 24

12:42 p.m., on Foster Lane — A caller reported an intoxicated male was making threats to “blow everyone up.” The people at the location were collectively trying to get all the weapons out of the residence. Law enforcement came to the location and spoke with the male.

2:17 p.m., on Skyview Drive/Whitworth Road — A shipping carrier van was reported to be on its side. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and did not appear to have sustained any major injuries. A wrecker was called for the van.

6:31 p.m., 100 block of Stonegate Road — A caller was concerned about a dog that had gotten into the complex and was running. The caller said she didn’t know if the dog would be able to figure out how to escape.

8:39 p.m., on Highway 87/Karger Lane — A field sobriety test was conducted during a traffic stop. The driver was taken into custody and a wrecker was called to haul away his vehicle.

11:17 p.m., 800 block of FM 289 — Multiple callers reported an 18-wheeler carrying pipes had rolled over and was smoking. A caller said she was attempting to get the driver out of the vehicle. Traffic was temporarily stopped. As one caller stated, pipes were “all over creation.”

MARCH 25

1:49 a.m., 100 block of Cascade Caverns Road — Law enforcement arrived to find the aftermath of senior pranks. Luckily, only “minimal carnage”had been done.

12:58 p.m., 900 block of N. School Street – A caller reported his credit card had been compromised while he was in New Braunfels.

5:08 p.m., 100 block of W Highway 46 — A caller reported a truck that was leaving trash all over the road as it drove.

7:47 p.m., 10000 block of North Creek Road — Three goats were making a break for it.
