“New Life, best life” is Sarah Lee’s mantra.
Dr. Daniel and Sarah Lee opened New Life Cosmetic Surgery in Boerne just before Thanksgiving, a facility larger than their well-established office in McAllen.
The Boerne center features two operating rooms and seven individual rooms for servicing its new Hill Country clientele.
“We wanted a high-end, custom-home look with a surgical facility,” Sarah Lee said. “We didn’t want a doctor’s office; we didn’t want any of this to look like a doctor’s office.”
The facility, she said, is built with room to grow. Dr. Lee drives between Boerne and McAllen “since we have a thriving practice down there. He drives back and forth. We hope to make more time up here, since this is a larger facility,” she said.
The 5,800 square-foot facility on Waterview Parkway near The Bevy Hotel has a luxurious feel and a smooth aesthetic flow from the wait area to consulting rooms and to the operating and laser rooms.
Their website provides a long list of treatments available in Boerne, from “mommy makeovers” and tummy tucks, to liposuction and breast augmentation, lifts and implants.
Other services include buccal lipectomy (cheek fat removal), FaceTite (a cosmetic procedure that targets sagging skin and wrinkles, primarily on the lower half of your face) for the face and neck, laser resurfacing, Botox, chemical peels, laser age spot removal, hair restoration, hormone replacement surgery and weight loss surgery.
“A lot of places may only offer this, or perform that; we offer the full scope of work,” she said.
Another offer out new this week — extended hours.
“Dr. Lee is well-established in McAllen, people know him there, his practice is full,” she said. “Up here, since he is brand new to the community, people are needing to meet him and get to know him, so we anticipate a time for growth.
“As people grow to know him and our providers in the office, it just takes time,” she added.
As of March 5, New Life is offering med spa services on Saturday along with evening hours a couple days a week.
“We’re going to start having champagne events so people can come in who might not be able to get here during the workday,” she added.
While she described cosmetic surgery as “consumer medicine,” she said New Life strives to build a true relationship with its clientele.
“People usually think about it for years before they decide. And it can be really life-changing,” she said. “People are usually back to work in a few days after a breast (augmentation).
