Boerne High’s Che Hendrix announced to his staff and informed Boerne ISD today that he is stepping away from his position as the Greyhound football coach and has taken a job with the University of Arkansas.
Hendrix leaves BHS after seven seasons and has just reached his 100th career win this past year. He has guided the Greyhounds to two regional titles in the past three seasons, one as a 4A and the other as a 5A.
Hendrix will work as a defensive analyst for the Razorbacks and coach nickel backs. His son, Hutson, has committed to Arkansas and will sign with the school next week.
