The first of two BISD track and field relays was held Feb. 8 at Champion and was hosted by the Chargers.
The second relay was held last week, also at Champion, and hosted by the Greyhounds.
At the first relay, the Champion girls scored 81 points for 4th place and the BHS girls were 6th with 45.25 points.
On the boys side, Champion was 3rd with 83 points and the Lady Hounds were 8th with 38 points.
Varsity Boys BHS
Charlie Stahl was 5th in the 100 in 11.38, William Freeman took 2nd in the 200 in 23.06, while Barrett Crofut placed 3rd in the 800 in a time of 2:01.68 and Crofut was 3rd in the 1600 with a 4:36.01.
Jackson Temple turned in a 10:07.87 for 2nd in the 3200, while Hudson Bruce was 6th in the 110 hurdles in 17.07.
Logan Schram came in 4th in the shot put with a throw of 45-11.50 and Nick Kenyon was 3rd in the high jump after he cleared 5-6.
Champion
Landon Heckman finished 6th in the 100 with a time of 11.45 and Caleb Dehart posted a 2:02.73 for 4th in the 800.
Luis Tovar clocked in at 4:24.07 for 3rd in the 1600 and Shawn Edwards was 6th in the race at 4:39.91.
Charlie Houck won the 3200 with a time of 9:58.87 and Luke Grametbauer finished 5th in the race at 10:17.44.
Joshua Hierholzer was 2nd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 41.94 and Hierholzer also came in 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 21-1.50 and was 3rd in the triple jump after he went 43-0.
The Champion 4x100 relay came in 4th with a 43.16 and the 4x400 relay posted a 3:36.42 for 6th.
Riley Wampler took 2nd in the shot put with a toss of 53.5.25 and Wampler was 2nd in the discus after a throw of 161-8.
Robert Wegleitner cleared 5-10 in the high jump for 2nd and Corben Cutcher tied for 5th after he went 5-6.
Varsity Girls BHS
Isabella Pettet finished 2nd in the 100 meters in 12.69, Savannah Seibert was 3rd in the 400 with a time of 1:02.79, Eleanor Davis came in 4th in the 3200 at 11:53.77 and Prisca Igbo was 4th in the 300 hurdles at 49.59.
The Boerne girls 4x100 relay finished 3rd in 50.47, Isabella Pettet went 17-11.50 in the long jump to tie for 2nd and Savannah Seibert had a leap of 16-4 for 6th, while Pettet went 33-1 to tie for 3rd in the triple jump.
Champion
Elizabeth Leachman posted a time of 9:46.51, just a second off her record-breaking national time, while Kynley Albright was 3rd in the race at 11:32.06.
Madison Meinke was 3rd in the 200 after clocking in at 26.89, Emma Rice posted a 2:25.90 for 5th in the 800 and Rice was 6th in the 1600 with a 5:33.93, while Kynley Albright finished 3rd in the 1600 with a 5:30.10.
Ella Bachman took 4th in the 100 hurdles after she ran a 16.92, while the 4x100 was 4th in 50.98, the 4x200 came in 2nd with a 1:48.23 and the 4x400 was 6th in a time of 4:21.69.
In field events, Lorena Barreiro-Bidot was 3rd in the shot put with a toss of 33-5.25 and Hailee Goodwin came in 5th at 32-10.
Cameron Wampler finished 4th in the discus with a toss of 112-7, Taylor Fenton cleared 4-10 in the high jump to tie for 4th and Peyton Smith vaulted 9-2 in the pole vault to tie for 2nd with three others.
