Geneva School of Boerne had eight swimmers qualify for this year’s state TAPPS meet.
The Eagles are waiting on other regions and may add another swimmer to the total.
At the regional meet, there were 14 individual personal best times and four personal bests on relays.
The Geneva girls team placed 2nd overall in Division III and the boys tied for 4th.
The TAPPS Division III state meet is scheduled Feb. 14.
RESULTS
In the girls 200-medley relay, Abigail Bussey, Haylee Parnell, Raquel Moerdyk and Malyn Arnold finished 2nd, while the boys 200-medley relay of Luke Horton, Teagan Fikes, Reid Wilson and Jack Taylor placed 5th.
In the 200 freestyle, Abigail Bussey was 5th, Alexandria Bussey placed 12th and Malyn Arnold came in 14th.
Luke Horton won the boys 200 free and Reid Wilson was 3rd in the 200 IM.
In the girls 50 free, Raquel Moerdyk took 4th, Malyn Arnold came in 10th and Francesca Dacy placed 23rd.
In the girls 50 free, Jack Taylor was 4th, Teagan Fikes finished 22nd and Samuel Crews 23rd.
Abigail Bussey took 3rd in the 100 butterfly, while in the 100 freestyle, Haylee Parnell was 2nd and Raquel Moerdyk 5th.
Jack Taylor came in 6th in the boys 100 freestyle and William Crews was 22nd.
The girls 200 freestyle relay of Haylee Parnell, Raquel Moerdyk, Malyn Arnold and Abigail Bussey captured 1st.
In the boys 200 freestyle relay, Reid Wilson, Luke Horton, Samuel Crews and Jack Taylor came in 3rd.
Alexandria Bussey placed 7th in the girls 100 backstroke and Luke Horton took 2nd in the boys 100 back.
In the girls 100 breaststroke, Haylee Parnell took 1st and Francesca Dacy came in 8th.
In the boys 100 breaststroke, Reid Wilson finished 2nd, Teagan Fikes was 12th, William Crews placed 15th and Samuel Crews 19th.
