Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Ruth Mitchell, Raymond McGee, and Ruben Fuentes.

Thomas Mitchell McGee was born December 21, 1997, to Martin and Marie. He was a military brat who started his life in Rapid City, S.D. He lived in Sumter, S.C.; Okinawa, Japan; and finally Boerne.

Throughout his travels and experiences he formed many friendships and close bonds with people from all walks of life.

Thomas loved music from the time he was a toddler, starting with The Three Tenors. He enjoyed watching the high school marching band and listening to the Bee Gees, Rick Astley, country music, and beyond.

He was a very patriotic person who loved his country and loved Texas, especially Boerne. There was never a time he didn’t place his hand over his heart with the playing of our national anthem.

Thomas was an outstanding athlete. As a child he obtained the junior black belt in Kempo karate by the age of 10. He played basketball and baseball and enjoyed skateboarding. His passion was soccer and was able to play at the highest youth levels.

He graduated from Boerne Champion High School and was a member of the varsity soccer team as a freshmen, and later made the Boerne Thunder UPSL soccer team.

Thomas enjoyed following and supporting the Denver Nuggets. He knew every stat on every player and was their number one fan. He was overjoyed with their NBA championship this last year, always sporting a jersey or hat in their honor.

Thomas enjoyed the outdoors and was earning his degree in horticulture and landscaping management. He started his own business called Lawn and Order and was working on expanding it. His goal was to start a nonprofit soccer club where kids could play for free.

Thomas was the kind of kid who would always have your back especially if you were being bullied or picked on. His teammates never had to worry on or off the pitch. Thomas was an Altar boy. He was kind, humble, and resilient.

He was a son and a brother who lived a spirited life. He found love with his beautiful girlfriend Tori. His life on earth was brief but his impact and legacy will live on in our hearts forever.

You will be forever missed. See you in Heaven, Thomas.
