OCTOBER 28

• 35th South Texas All British Car Day, Main Plaza, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Come get a look at all the British-made automobiles South Texas has to offer. Free to attend; awards to be given.

• St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church Fall Fest, 9 a.m. to noon. Featuring games, food, raffle items, and trunk or treat – what’s not to love? The trunk or treat will include an 11 a.m. visit from Boerne Police Department and Boerne Fire Department.

• Trick or treat all day long in and around the Hill Country Mile. Kids and adults are welcome to dress up and fill their candy buckets while leisurely shopping and strolling through our historic downtown.

• Halloween Hustle 5K at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club, starting at 10 a.m. Lace up, put on a Halloween costume, and contribute to a brighter future for foster youth. Open to all walkers and runners.

• The Kendall County Historical Commission is honored to announce a Texas Historical commission marker unveiling for the historic Wren Cemetery, 50 Spring Creek Road. A post-Civil War African-American cemetery, it was named for a former slave, Alex Wren, who owned the land upon which the cemetery is plotted. The unveiling will begin at 10 a.m.

• Alamo Fiesta RV Park Trunk or Treat, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., 33000 Interstate 10 in Boerne. The trunk- or-treat event includes jumping balloons, games, prizes, pumpkin decorating, and face painting. Amongst other vendors, there will be food trucks on site for food purchase.

• Third annual Boerne Spooktacular at the AgriCultural Museum and Arts Center, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., 102 City Park Road. A family- friendly Halloween event, each child will be given a trick or treat bag and a glow stick bracelet upon entering. A hayride, spooky train ride for kids, pinata bash, and goblin cornhole are part of the fun. Area 51 will have costume contests for all ages and a Halloween dance party with music by their outof- this-world DJ.

• St. Helena’s Episcopal Church and School Trunk or Treat, 5:30-7:30 p.m., 410 N. Main St. Come out to this trunk- or-treat event, featuring bounce houses, games, snow cones, pumpkin kits, games and more.

• Third annual KCFA Haunted House, Kendall County Fairgrounds, 6-11 p.m., 1307 River Road. Prepared to get your pants scared off at the Kendall County Fair Queen’s Court’s annual Haunted House fundraiser. Family fun for all. $5 admission.

OCTOBER 29

• Join the Dog & Pony Grill for their “Halloween Trunk or Treat” celebration from 4-7 p.m. at 1481 S. Main St. They’ll be putting on a spook-tacular party with special Halloween food and drinks, a market with vendors, a DJ, and more. Wear your best costume.

OCTOBER 31

• The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at Organize with Natalie, 428 W. Bandera Road, to celebrate the completion of the new tea location.

• 28 Songs’ Trunk or Treat event, 5-8 p.m. Something for everyone: treats for the kids and brewed treats for the adults. Kitchen will be open for anyone who wants some food to accompany their candy consumption.

NOVEMBER 1

• “ Stocking Stroll” tickets go on sale; only 200 tickets available. Purchase of this ticket allows you to participate in the Stocking Stroll on the first weekend of December, collecting gifts from certain Main Street stores.

NOVEMBER 2

• The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at their boardroom, 121 S Main St., to celebrate the charitable organization, the Tapatio Ladies Club.

NOVEMBER 3

• Adult Night Hike, Cibolo Nature Center, 6:15-7:45 p.m. These hikes are focused on nocturnal wildlife viewing, so hikers can expect longer hikes, using unfamiliar trails, and spending time without the use of flashlights. These hikes are hands-on, engaging, and fun for adults of all

ages.

NOVEMBER 4

• Third annual FCA Fall Forward 5K, Main Plaza, beginning at 8 a.m. This running event benefits the San Antonio area Fellowship of Christian Athletes and attempts to bridge the gap between all running communities. Sign up at www.runsignup.com.

• Son of A Gun: Guns N’ Roses tribute band, at The RoundUp, 6 p.m. The five-piece band, based in Los Angeles, brings a stadium- caliber show to any venue. Come listen to a tribute to one of the better “hair bands” of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Tickets at www. eventbrite.com.

NOVEMBER 18

• Crop Hunger Walk, St. Mark Family Life Center, beginning at 9 a.m. at 208 W. Bandera Road. This one-mile fundraiser aims to support the end of hunger, one step at a time. This event is complete with activities, prizes, refreshments and other fun things.
