The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. 12:31 a.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – A caller reported a vehicle that had been sitting in the parking lot facing the building. The caller told dispatch that two individuals had gotten out of the vehicle, walked toward the building and then got back in the car and had not moved since.
6:14 a.m., 700 Blk River – A resident reported that their car had been broken into during the night. The resident noted to dispatch that the windows had not been smashed in but the door was opened.
11:27 a.m., 35000 Blk W I-10 – An employee reported finding a white, grainy substance in a plastic bag. The employee noted that the smoke detectors in the room had been dismantled/ disconnected.
5:44 p.m., 100 Blk Lodge Springs – A caller reported seeing black smoke near a subdivision. Boerne FD was called to the scene and found a crane fully engulfed in flames. Boerne FD successfully extinguished the fire with no reported injuries.
11:20 p.m., 1400 Blk S Main – A caller reported a male who had been standing outside a business for approximately an hour, smoking a cigarette. The caller was concerned the male was going to break in after the business closed.
MARCH 30
8:40 a.m., Oak Park/Herff – Three vehicles were involved in an accident. The vehicles were not blocking the roadway and luckily no injuries resulted. Two of the vehicles rolled over and left a lot of debris in the road.
9:14 a.m., 1200 Blk S Main – A caller reported that an Apple Watch had been stolen off the front desk.
11:32 a.m., 34000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported a subject that was trespassing on the property. The caller told dispatch that the subject had repeatedly been showing up in the middle of the night.
12:01 p.m., Greyhound Lane – A caller reported that his vehicle’s tires were slashed while he was parked at Boerne High School.
1:25 p.m., 100 Blk Serenity – A woman called in to report someone putting fraudulent charges on her credit card.
11:24 p.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio – Boerne FD was called to the scene of a suspected arson incident and successfully handled the situation.
MARCH 31
1:16 a.m., 400 Blk N Main – A male had “passed out” on a bench. Once law enforcement arrived, he was conscious and talking; however, after interacting with law enforcement, he was taken into custody.
8:07 a.m., 200 Blk Champion – A caller reported a school bus had damaged her rear view mirror and caused it to fall off.
2:06 p.m., 1300 Blk S Main – A two vehicle accident occurred. Luckily, neither party was injured. The vehicles were able to relocate to a parking lot, out of traffic.
7:00 p.m., 100 Blk W Bandera – A caller reported a male going through a dumpster. The caller also mentioned that he had a vehicle parked next to him and it appeared that he was loading a box of stuff (possibly from the dumpster) into the vehicle.
8:52 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – An employee reported a male attempting to sell AirPods to the store’s employees without him having purchased anything. One of the employees apparently did attempt to send money electronically for the AirPods but could not get the money to successfully go through. The employee calling in suspected the AirPods were stolen and told dispatch he had gone to other businesses as well.
APRIL 01
7:28 a.m., 900 Blk Johns Road – A driver reported someone on the side of the road who had the vehicle’s door open and was leaning out of the vehicle. The person was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody.
10:32 a.m., 1400 Blk E Blanco – A caller reported a male with a little girl who appeared to have been crying. The caller told dispatch that they had just seen the male go and yell at his wife.
10:59 a.m., 100 Blk Cibolo Crossing – A disgruntled neighbor reported someone washing their car in their driveway for the fourth weekend in a row! Approximately an hour later, the same neighbor called in to report that they were now washing a different car.
1:57 p.m., 1300 Blk S Main – A caller reported two males who were pretending to play the violin outside a store. The caller was concerned the males were scamming money from people passing by.
7:42 p.m., 600 Blk W Bandera – A woman reported that her vehicle was damaged while she was parked and inside the store.
11:09 p.m., 200 Blk S Main – A security officer reported a vehicle a vehicle that had been parked and idling for two hours. The caller did not see anyone in or around the vehicle.
APRIL 02
7:04 a.m., 31000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported a male was assaulted by a subject who attempted to solicit the male for sex and then stole around $11,000 from the male. The subject’s vehicle description was noted and provided to law enforcement.
1:04 p.m., 1400 Blk E Blanco – Two individuals were detained after a routine traffic stop.
4:21 p.m., 200 Blk Ebner – A woman reported two women attempting to get in a U-Haul vehicle. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found no criminal activity.
4:36 p.m., 100 Blk City Lake – A concerned citizen reported people driving an ATV near the lake’s dam and in the area nearby. When law enforcement showed up, the drivers had put away the ATVs. Law enforcement spoke with the drivers.
5:51 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera - A caller requested assistance from law enforcement when a male showed up who had a history of shoplifting from the location.
7:24 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A single vehicle accident occurred when a driver crashed into a pole near gas pumps. The gas pumps were not damaged – the pole received it all. The driver reported experiencing neck pain and was provided with medical assistance.
APRIL 03
9:34 a.m., Rosewood/Main – A caller reported that her son had hit the Stop sign while he was driving. The city Street Department was notified in order to get the sign put back up.
10:32 a.m., Plant/Blanco – A concerned caller reported a vehicle being loaded on a trailer. The trailer was connected to a nicer vehicle and the caller was concerned the vehicle may have been stolen.
1:50 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – An employee called in to report a shoplifting incident that had occurred the previous day.
3:40 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera – A driver was hit by another vehicle while they were waiting in a drive-through line.
6:32 p.m., River/Main – A man called in reporting “killer bees” had arrived in Boerne and were chasing cars. While no special “killer bees” were located, a bee infestation was found near trash cans by the river.
11:37 p.m., 33000 Blk W I-10 – A woman called in to report a male who was shirtless, holding a jug of water and wearing a black mask, staring at her. The woman did not recognize the male. The woman told dispatch the male then began to walk away.
MARCH 29
6:55 a.m., N Hwy 87 – A caller reported that an 18-wheeler hit his pickup truck while the 18-wheeler driver was attempting to park. There were no injuries.
8:10 a.m., 100 Blk River Ranch Rd – A caller reported finding a male wondering around without clothes on and was seeking law enforcement’s assistance in locating the clothes.
8:17 a.m., FM 1376/Shooting Club Rd – A resident reported that for the prior three nights, someone had been dumping landscaping debris in the drainage ditch.
9:37 a.m., 100 Blk Kreutzberg – A caller reported hearing gunshots in the area. The caller noted to dispatch that he had called about the same issue the previous night. Law enforcement checked out a shooting range that was in close proximity but no activity had happened there.
11:19 a.m., 1700 Blk Waterstone Pkwy – A structure fire was reported on a house, with a back [pillar catching on fire. The homeowner was not home at the time. All local fire departments were called to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.
5:10 p.m., 100 Blk Hoskins Trail – A resident reported paying a contactor over $100,000 who had later abandoned the project. The resident was requesting a report documenting the theft.
MARCH 30
12:46 a.m., 531MM E I-10 – After conducting a sobriety test after a vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop, one occupant was detained and one occupant was placed in custody.
9:26 a.m., 100 Blk W Hwy 46 – A two vehicle accident occurred with both vehicles rolling over. One of the involved parties was bleeding from their mouth and entrapped in their car. The interstate was temporarily shut down in both directions. The trapped occupants successfully got out of their vehicle. Those injured were provided with medical attention. Two wreckers were called for the vehicles.
10:26 a.m., Hwy 87/Falling Waters – A two vehicle accident occurred. One of the vehicle’s air bags were deployed. An occupant involved in the accident was complaining of chest pain. All the occupants successfully got out of their vehicles. Two wreckers were called for the two vehicles.
1:06 p.m., Staudt – A resident came in to report a fraudulent check he had received when as a payment fir a vehicle he sold.
MARCH 31
8:17 a.m., 100 Blk City Lake – A group of teenagers or young adults was reported to law enforcement after riding four jet skies on the lake.
11:16 a.m., 32000 Blk I-10 – A caller reported a male and female trespassing. The caller reported to dispatch he had locked the door but the trespassers were still attempting to get in and were being aggressive.
1:58 p.m., 100 Blk E Tapatio Dr – A large fire was reported near an electrical box. All local fire departments were called to the scene. An additional water truck was called to the scene. The nearby road was traffic-controlled. After several hours, the fire was successfully
extinguished.
2:33 p.m., 600 Blk Alamo Rd – A caller requested assistance from law enforcement regarding an out-of-state accident she had been involved in. The caller was requesting information regarding the other vehicle involved in the accident. When the caller was informed that law enforcement could not provide her with the information the caller was not amused.
9:13 p.m., 300 Blk Winchester – A resident with a game camera reported an unknown pickup truck coming on the resident’s property and parking. The resident told dispatch that it did not appear that anyone got out of the vehicle.
11:30 p.m., 100 Blk N Stonegate – A concerned mother called in to report her teenage daughter had invited friends over while the mother was out of town. The mother was especially concerned due to some of the verbiage she heard via the doorbell camera.
APRIL 01
12:00 a.m., 400 Blk Comfort Place – A caller reported a vehicle that had parked near her vehicle in the caller’s apartment parking lot. The driver got out of the vehicle and then got back in. Law enforcement made contact with the driver and discovered he was there to visit his girlfriend.
9:22 a.m., FM 3351/Hwy 46 E – A cow looking to do an April Fool’s joke was found standing in the middle of the road.
10:02 a.m., Mattick Lane – A caller reported seeing someone let out three dogs on the caller’s property before quickly driving away.
12:28 p.m., 100 Blk Ulmus – A resident reported someone shooting in the area. Specifically, the caller noted that some of the bullets had come close to their house. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found that a neighbor was doing some target practice – they were advised to be more careful.
3:30 p.m., 100 Blk Kreutzberg Rd – A cow had an udderly interesting afternoon. Initially only one caller reported the cow near the road. Then, dispatch slowly received more calls about the cow. Assumedly, law enforcement had heard enough about the cow and placed it in a nearby property owner’s field. However, the property owner contacted law enforcement and let them know they did not own any cows.
APRIL 02
2:01 a.m., 536 MM W I-10 – A caller reported a male walking along the side of the interstate. The caller seemed to suspect the male was intoxicated because he appeared to have stumbled while he was walking. Law enforcement made contact with the male and found he was walking to go visit his girlfriend.
9:54 a.m., 2500 Blk FM 473 – A goat who had some Sunday brunch plans got out of its fence and made a run for it. The caller assisted the goat in getting back into its fence.
1:24 p.m., 10 Blk North Creek Loop – A mother goat and baby goat heard about the other goat’s plans and wanted to go say hello but they got lost and started running around the neighborhood.
4:09 p.m., 800 Blk FM 289 – A security company called in to report a male trespassing on the property. The security company noted to dispatch that the male had lowered his truck’s tailgate and begun loading items into it.
4:52 p.m., 600 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported his vehicle’s license plates had been stolen. The caller was unsure when they had been taken but noticed they were missing when he returned to his vehicle.
10:40 p.m., Winchester Drive/Remington Drive – A caller reported seeing two brush fires as he was driving by. Neither of the fires had become structure fires yet but were increasingly getting closer. The Bergheim FD was called to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.
APRIL 03
3:29 a.m., 1600 Blk River Rd – An employee reported three teenagers who she suspected of being intoxicated. The employee told dispatch they seemed “wobbly”. Law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicle.
7:50 a.m., 600 Blk FM 474 – A caller reported seeing smoke coming from near the bridge. The Boerne FD located a campfire that had been started. Assistance from law enforcement was requested as it was suspected that the fire-starter(s) may have been intoxicated.
8:37 a.m., Seewald Rd/Breeze Way – A male decided to give everyone show as he walked out of his trailer naked this morning. A bike rider, who happened to be passing by, contacted law enforcement and generously offered to point them in the right direction.
12:28 p.m., 100 Blk Valencia – Over $500 worth of cabinet hardware was reported to have been stolen from a house that was under construction.
11:39 p.m., FM 474/Kreutzberg Rd – A rollover accident occurred involving a single vehicle. The occupant was able to get out of the vehicle and was provided with medical attention.
