The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. 7:56 a.m., 400 Blk W. Bandera Rd – A two-vehicle accident occurred. The caller reported that he was side swiped by another vehicle in the parking lot. There were no injuries.

2:58 p.m., 800 Blk N. Main – A concerned caller reported a woman who had driven up to the location and appeared intoxicated. Once the woman had parked, she began openly drinking liquor. The woman started walking around the area, continuing to carry around her bottle of liquor. Law enforcement arrived and took the woman into custody.

5:29 p.m., 35000 Blk W. I-10 – A caller reported that her purse was stolen from her friend’s vehicle.

7:28p.m.,30BlkRangerCreek–Acaller reported a large brush fire with very high flames. Boerne FD was called to scene; however, the property owner successfully put out the fire with a water hose.

8:14p.m., 400 Blk W. Bandera – A store manager wanted to discuss an attempted shoplifting that had occurred earlier that day.

MARCH 23

12:00 a.m., 900 Blk River Road – A caller reported that a driver ran him off the road. The caller managed to keep track of the vehicle until law enforcement could locate the vehicle. Because the vehicle was quickly approaching the Bandera County line, Bandera County law enforcement was advised of the vehicle.

12:41 p.m., 31000 Blk W I-10 – A hitand- run accident occurred. The caller reported that their vehicle had received significantrear-enddamageatsomepoint during the day.

9:32 p.m., 100 Blk Whisper Way – A resident reported that a male was knocking on her front door very loudly. Dispatch noted that the individual who was knocking sounded intoxicated. The resident knew the male but was unsure why he was behaving this way. Law enforcement arrived at the scene and detained the male.

MARCH 24

5:11 a.m., 700 Blk Oak Park – A caller reported that a firearm had been stolen from a bag inside her vehicle sometime during the night.

7:56 a.m., 30 Blk Herff – A two-vehicle accident occurred, with one of the vehicles skidding into the median. There were no serious injuries; however, two wreckers were needed.

10:55 a.m., 545 MM W I-10 – A concerned caller reported a cargo truck with a “rotting odor”coming from it.

4:49 p.m., 2400 Blk FM 1376 – A woman reported she’d damaged one of her vehicle’s windows when she’d hit wildlife. The woman suspected she had possibly struck a turkey. There were no injuries and EMS was not required.

8:37 p.m., 100 Blk Rocky Path – A woman requested additional law enforcement patrol in the area after she and her neighbors had heard loud knocking on their front doors to their houses during the night.

10:30 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Road – An employee reported a woman who had shoplifted around $300 worth of merchandise. Luckily, the employee was able to provide law enforcement with video surveillance of the incident.

MARCH 25

4:40 a.m., 400 Blk Rosewood – A resident reported hearing arguing at a neighbor’s house. The resident reported the couple had been screaming and threatening each other for 30 minutes. Dispatch noted the resident had not heard a physical altercation occur nor any discussion of weapons.

8:54 a.m., 1000 Blk E. Blanco – A caller reportedavehiclethathadbeenparkedon their parking lot for five days. The parking lot was private property and utilized their right to call a towing company and have the vehicle removed.

9:38 a.m., 32000 Blk W. I-10 – A caller selling a vehicle reported the individual who had purchased the vehicle was using a stolen ID.

10:24 a.m., Adler/Plant – A driver reported a male driving around Boerne in only his socks and underwear.

3:41 p.m., Cascade Caverns – A caller reported two kids had jumped the fence to go into the courtyard and then jumped back over the fence.

9:05 p.m., 100 Blk W. Bandera Rd – A dedicated dumpster diver was rummaging through the donations pile with a headlamp on and taking any items of interest to his van.

11:49p.m.,500BlkDeerCreek–Acaller reported a male had tried to kick down his front door. The male then ran across the street. Law enforcement pursued the individual and successfully detained him and four others with him.

MARCH 26

8:55 a.m., 700 Blk River – A woman reported her wallet had been stolen. The woman was not sure if it had been stolen from her vehicle or her apartment.

11:38 a.m., 100 Blk Hitching Post – A resident reported smelling gas in her garage. Boerne FD was called to the scene to investigate. After investigating, the gas department remedied the situation and the Fire Department was able to leave.

12:44 p.m., 300 Blk Ebner – A caller reported her roommate had been sending threatening texts and calls to her.

12:55 p.m., 200 Blk Ivy – A resident reported her vehicle had been broken into but nothing had been stolen from the auto.

1:00 p.m., 1000 Blk Diamond – A woman reported her vehicle was stolen during the night. The thief had also deactivated the car’s built-in tracking system.

2:46 p.m., 700 Blk River – A male reported that his vehicle had also been broken into with nothing stolen. However, the male could tell the suspect had gone through all of his things and the glove compartment.

5:16 p.m., 100 Blk Industrial – A caller reported that the tires on her vehicle had been slashed.

6:16 pm., 200 Blk Rosebud – A husband reported that his and his wife’s vehicles had been broken into during the night and the wife’s medication had been stolen.

MARCH 27

11:47 a.m., Shooting Club – A woman reported that someone had fraudulently opened a credit card in her name.

3:33 p.m., 1400 Blk S. Main – A caller reported a male who was yelling and screaming at the location’s employees.The caller told dispatch that when she threatened to notify the police, the male left the location but his vehicle was still there. The male came back into the lobby and began causing a disturbance again.

4:38 p.m. 200 Blk W. Bandera – An automated notification was received for a two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported, nor was the roadway blocked, but an airbag was deployed. The license plates for one of the vehicles was noted as being incorrect. A wrecker was needed for at least one of the vehicles.

4:42 p.m., 400 Blk W. Bandera Rd – A hit-and-run accident occurred. A caller reported their vehicle was hit in the parking lotandthentheothervehicledroveoff. The caller requested that law enforcement obtain the video surveillance from the parking lot.

5:35 p.m., 100 Blk Becker – A mother reported that her teenage daughter was receiving nasty text messages from a random phone number.

MARCH 28

8:08 a.m., 1500 Blk S. Main – A caller reported that his identity had been stolen and was being fraudulently used for a credit card. Apparently, the scammer has big plans as they used the credit card to put a deposit down on a boat in the caller’s name.

9:32 a.m., 38000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported a male wearing dark clothing, a backpack and a covering over his nose and mouth was walking along the access road. The caller thought this appeared suspicious, however, law enforcement examined the situation and found everything was OK.

11:44 a.m., 100 Blk Crosspoint – A caller reported a male driving a sports car back and forth in front of the caller’s location. The caller told dispatch the male had been following the caller’s girlfriend around.

1:58p.m.,33000BlkW.I-10–Awoman reported her vehicle had been stolen two days prior.

2:42 p.m., 100 Blk W. Bandera – A caller reported a woman smoking weed in her vehicle.

5:53p.m.,400BlkS.Main–Amalewho appeared to be heavily intoxicated was walkingaroundMainStreet.Themalewas carrying around a bottle of brown liquor and was attempting to get touchy-feely with pedestrians.

MARCH 22

3:04 a.m., 100 Blk Hope Road – A caller reported a male who had thrown a weapon at a relative. There were no injuries; however, the male was still in possession of the weapon. The caller secured the weapon from the male. When law enforcement arrived, it was learned the male had history of violent behavior. The male was taken into custody.

7:30 a.m., 300 Blk E. Texas 46 – A concerned

caller reported a vehicle off the

road, in a ditch, with its headlights on.

11:37 a.m., FM 1376/Wasp Creek Bridge – Two white dogs were spotted runningintoBoernetocatchanearlylunch reservation.

12:23 p.m., 200 Blk FM 473 – A caller reported a vehicle that had been parked in his driveway for a couple of hours. The caller told dispatch he believed someone was in the vehicle.

2:50 p.m., 200 Blk Becker – A caller reported hearing two gunshots in the area. The caller was informed that this was a part of a Department of Public Safety training exercise.

4:15 p.m., 100 Blk Ranch Dive. – A husband reported he had received a call stating that his wife had been kidnapped. The husband had since spoken to his wife and she wasOK.Thecallerprovidedthe“kidnappers’” phonenumbertolawenforcement.

MARCH 23

10:14a.m.,100BlkRiverwood–Abusinessman had reported he had performed services and not been paid. The man told dispatch that he was owed over $20,000.

12:01 p.m., 535 MM E I-10 – A driver reported that a piece of wood had fallen off an 18-wheeler and hit the driver’s windshield.

2:48 p.m., Scenic Loop – A resident reported for the past year, there had been seven trucks containing property sitting at the resident’s neighbor’s property. The resident tolddispatchtheyfoundthissuspicious.

3:39 p.m., 100 Blk Ranch Drive – Three donkeyswereintheroad,lookingforalate afternoon snack.

MARCH 24

10:40 a.m., 800 Blk High St. – A garage was reported to be on fire. Everyone had safely evacuated the building. Comfort, Kendalia and Sisterdale fire departments were called to the scene. The garage was fully engulfed in flames, and the road was temporarily closed to traffic. The fire was successfully extinguished.

2:09 p.m., 544 MM E. I-10 – A person was arrested and taken to jail after a routine traffic stop.

2:48 p.m., 533 MM E. I-10 – A caller reportedwitnessingamotorcycleaccident. The driver was reported to still be on the ground. Emergency services were called to the scene and handled the accident. A wrecker was required for the motorcycle.

6:05p.m.,AllenRoad–Acallerreported that one minor had assaulted another minor. The injuries sustained sent the minor to the emergency room.

8:01 a.m., 100 Blk Sattler – A caller reported a large fire at the edge of their neighbor’s property line. The caller told dispatchthefirewasthelengthofabus.Dispatch was then told that the fire was under control. Law enforcement was called to the scene due to the possible need to write a citationforburningduringaburnban.

MARCH 25

12:04 a.m., 500 Blk N. FM 3351 – A vehicle-person incident was reported. A seemingly intoxicated woman was complaining of pain in her foot. It was discovered that her friend had accidentally run over her foot.

10:35a.m.,100BlkS.WagonWheelDr.–A caller reported a wanted person at this location. Law enforcement was unable to locate the person and the vehicle affiliated with the sought-afterpersonhadnotbeeninuse.

1:06 p.m., 400 Blk FM 1376 – A caller reported someone taking gravel from a Texas Department of Transportation vehicle and putting in their own truck and trailer. The caller informed dispatch the individual making the transfer did not appear to be a TxDOT employee.

4:14 p.m., 100 Blk Walnut Grove – A resident reported a vehicle had flipped in front of the caller’s house. Four males got out of the vehicle, with at least one having visible injuries. One of the occupants was taken into custody, the other three ran away.Thenamesofthethreewhfledwere later provided to law enforcement.

7:55 p.m., 52000 Blk W. I-10 – A caller reported hearing gunshots, that sounded like they were coming from a rifle. The caller told dispatch that the individual had fired over 50 times and seemed to be shooting at someone’s property.

MARCH 26

1:44 a.m., 400 Blk Eighth Street – A concerned caller reported two males banging on someone’s front door.The males appeared to be intoxicated and were cursing at each other.Whoeverwasresidingontheotherside of the door did not answer and kept their curtains closed and door locked. After almost 30minutes,thetwomalesstopped.

10:34 a.m., 300 Blk FM 1376 – A ram received some assistance in getting back into its home after the animal had wandered in the middle of the road.

11:40 a.m., Upper Sisterdale – A caller reported a vehicle, occupied by two adults, that was trespassing on the caller’s property. The caller noted to dispatch that the vehicle had also trespassed two days prior.

12:34p.m.,100BlkLiveOak–Acallerfrom outofstatewasreportingasituationinvolving afraudulentcheck.Thecallerhadbeentoldby someone alleging they had a Boerne address that he needed to pay almost $4,000. The callerrealizedhewasbeingscammed,butnot untilafterhehadprovidedthemoney.

2:03 p.m., River Ranch Road – A naked male was reported to be sprawled on his fence, talking with himself. Law enforcement andEMSwerecalledtothescene.Afterbeing provided with a cover by officers, EMS provided themalewithmedicalattention.

10:51 p.m., 543 MM E. I-10 – A vehicle headed east on the interstate faced some issues during a traffic stop. One of the occupants ran away while the vehicle was stopped. The driver proceeded to speed away down the interstate. As the vehicle approached the Bexar County line, it was reported to be going over 120 mph. Bexar County law enforcement was notified.

MARCH 27

1:18 a.m., E. Texas 46/Old Curry Creek Road– Dispatch was notified via an automated system after a vehicle was in a serious collision. The vehicle ran into a rock wall, and the driver initially was unresponsive. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and the vehicle caught on fire. Bergheim Volunteer Fire Department was called to scene and extinguished the fire.

5:03 a.m., 35000 Blk W. I-10 – A caller reported hearing someone yelling for help. The caller explained to dispatch that it sounded like a woman. The woman was located. Emergency services were prepared to assist the woman, but it turned out she was OK.

11:25 a.m., Staudt Street – A woman walked in to report several instances of fraud. Two weeks prior, the woman had received a fraudulent charge of over $1,800 to one of her bank accounts. The woman reported that she’d received an attempted chargeof$4,000toadifferentbankaccount.

5:12 p.m., 1300 Blk S. Main – Two people were detained after drugs were found during a probable-cause search of the vehicle during a traffic stop.

5:13p.m.,Granadilla–Amemberofthe securitystaffreportedapickupthatwason the premises and had not been approved. Shortly thereafter, the caller stated that law enforcement did not have to come out to the location – the truck had left the premises.

5:58 p.m., 400 Blk FM 1376 – A two-vehicle accident occurred involving pickups, oneofwhichtoweda trailerwithaBobcat. The accident initially blocked both lanes of traffic, resulting in the road being temporarily closed. Both parties had stated there were no injuries, but one of the occupants later reported a back injury. He was provided with medical assistance.

MARCH 28

8:19 a.m., 527 MM W. I-10 – A caller reported an 18-wheeler driving erratically down the interstate. The caller told dispatch the vehicle appeared to be a postal service vehicle and had mail flying out the back. Kerr County law enforcement was advised of the vehicle.

9:48a.m.,100BlkRiverwood–Awoman wanted to report identity theft. She said roughly 10 weeks prior, she had received a noticestatingthatsheowed$150foraloan; however, the woman reported she had not applied for the loan. Several weeks later, the woman received another letter, now claiming she owed $300.

10:29 a.m., 600 Blk Upper Sisterdale – A propertyownerreportedfindingacamouflage mask(thatdidnotbelongtoanyone) on his property. The property owner also said two gates had been found open that morning.

2:08 p.m., 100 Blk Monarca Blvd. – A caller reported an 18-wheeler that had been flipped over on a vacant lot. The driver informed law enforcement that while he was dumping a load, the wind blew over the trailer and vehicle. There were no injuries.

7:53 p.m., U.S. 87 South – A caller reported a male who came to the front door asking for help. The male left and walked towards Comfort. The caller noted the male was dressed in military attire. Law enforcement searched the caller’s propertytoensurethemalewasnotatthe location, attempting to spend the night. The male was not located.
