The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. 1:23 a.m., 536 MM E I-10 – Five individuals were detained after a routine traffic stop.

3:35 a.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio Rd – A caller reported a suspicious male looking into vehicles with a flashlight. After investigation, it was found that it was a towing company looking for possible permit violations.

5:05 a.m., 1500 Blk River Rd – An employee reported that someone was banging and pulling on the handle of the back door of the business location. The employee reported they did not see anyone when looking out the side window.

1:55 p.m., Wanda/Bass – A two-vehicle accident occurred. One of the occupants was injured and reporting significant pain. Another occupant was also complaining of pain. EMS was called to provide medical assistance. The vehicle, which had both been moderately damaged, were in the middle of the roadway.

10:28 p.m., 100 Blk Parkway – A male was reported to be digging through the dumpster. While the caller was speaking with dispatch, the male left the first location and went into another parking lot.

11:30 p.m., 200 Blk W Hampton Run – A caller reported they were being extorted. An individual had nude photos of the caller and was demanding the caller pay them or they would release the pictures online. The caller had already given them some money but the individual wanted more money.

MARCH 09

5:53 a.m., 400 Blk E Blanco – A concerned citizen reported a vehicle parked behind the old City Hall location. The citizen did not know how long the vehicle had been parked there.

9:19 a.m., 31000 Blk W I-10 – A group of employees had cornered a male who they suspected of trying to steal a vehicle. The vehicle turned out to be another employee’s vehicle. Law enforcement arrived and took the male into custody.

3:22 p.m., 200 Blk Ivy – A property manager reported that someone was attempting to scam people through a false “For Sale” ad.

6:48 p.m., Staudt St – A caller reported an occupied vehicle that was near a fence.

8:50 p.m., 100 Blk Old San Antonio – A woman reported a male walking his dog off leash. The woman also reported the male had called her a curse word.

MARCH 10

10:10 a.m., 200 Blk Michelle – A mother called in to report her son was being harassed through text message.

11:24 a.m., Old San Antonio – A caller reported someone had fraudulently opened a television subscription account in the caller’s name, roughly three years ago. The caller reported that he had received notice of debt from the subscription company.

1:06 p.m., 200 Blk W Bandera – There was a two-vehicle accident that resulted in the road being blocked. Initially no injuries were reported; however, one of the occupants was later reporting pain and EMS was contacted.

3:00 p.m., 522 MM E I-10 – A pickup truck was reported to possibly have illegal immigrants in the bed of the truck as was driving down the interstate. The vehicle exited the interstate and drove on back roads. At a certain point, all occupants of the vehicle exited the vehicle and began running on foot. A DPS helicopter was called in for the search. The abandoned vehicle was located. The occupants of the vehicle were not located.

7:18 p.m., 200 Blk Granite Shores – A concerned caller reported three vehicles that appeared to be stealing supplies from under-construction homes. The drivers were filling barrels with supplies and then loading them into their trucks.

MARCH 11

12:04 p.m., Cascade Caverns – A caller reported his gun and holster had been stolen. However, the caller was unable to determine when or where it had been stolen. The dispatcher noted that the caller sounded confused and it was possible he had misplaced it.

12:06 p.m., 1200 Blk S Main – A manager reported that a large group of people had checked out of the location but were not leaving the property.

12:57 p.m., 36000 Blk W I-10 – A trailer disconnected from its truck and hit a utility box. The driver hooked up the trailer again and left the scene; however, a caller reported the vehicle’s information to law enforcement so they could make contact.

4:53 p.m., 100 Blk Lake Front – Two dogs were reported to be walking around the lake, barking probably planning out their Spring Break swimming.

6:40 p.m., 200 Blk Schleicher – A caller reported their neighbors had seen someone inside the caller’s vacant rental house but they had taken off.

9:56 p.m., 35000 Blk W I-10 – An employee reported a suspicious male checking in. The man, attired in a hoodie and sunglasses, was walking around in circles smoking before approaching the front desk. Then, he told the employee that he did not want people to recognize him.

MARCH 12

3:54 a.m., 100 Blk Herff – An employee was concerned and requested assistance from law enforcement with a vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle had been sitting in the parking lot for over five minutes and no one had exited the vehicle. After investigation, law enforcement found that the vehicle was waiting to pick up someone for the airport.

8:02 a.m., School/Cibolo – A single vehicle accident occurred when the vehicle ran into a pole. The vehicle was in the middle of the road and blocking traffic. Dispatch later noted that the driver did not want the police called. A wrecker was called for the vehicle. The electrical utility pole ended up being okay.

8:56 a.m., 200 Blk Clear Sky – A caller reported her son was using rocks to break the windows of a vehicle. Law enforcement arrived and detained the son.

1:00 p.m., 200 Blk Deer Creek – An ex-girlfriend reported that she went to their house, after the ex-boyfriend had been taken into custody the prior evening, and had found a large Ziploc bag containing a white powder substance.

1:10 p.m., 200 Blk Cold River – A caller reported he gave his brother a couple of firearms and now his wife, the caller’s sister-in-law, was refusing to return them.

5;05 p.m., 100 Blk City Lake – A motorized boat was reported to be on Boerne Lake.

8:58 p.m., 100 Blk City Lake – A caller reported that his bag was stolen while he was swimming at the lake earlier in the day.

MARCH 13

12:55 a.m., 1600 Blk River – A resident reported hearing a male and female arguing, possibly moving furniture and banging on the walls. The resident stated the noise was so loud it had woken her up.

8:35 a.m., 800 Blk River Rd – A caller reported their vehicle had been broken into during the night. The caller informed dispatch that whoever had broken in had placed a beer in her glove compartment.

9:12 a.m., 100 Blk Dover Downs – A vehicle was stolen out of someone’s driveway. The owner’s neighbor luckily had a video of the incident via their video doorbell system.

9:45 a.m., 100 Blk Dover Downs – A concerned resident reported an officer had shown up at her door with a rifle in the early hours of the morning. Possibly connected to the earlier reported vehicle theft.

12:18 p.m., 600 Blk W Bandera Rd – A caller reported that someone stole lawn equipment from his vehicle while he was parked. The caller estimated the value of everything to be $2000.

5:27 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – A woman witnessed a driver drink what she suspected - was an alcoholic drink. The woman noted tot dispatch that there was a juvenile in the front seat. Law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicle.

7:51 p.m., 200 Blk Latigo – A resident reported that while she was in the hospital for eight days, someone attempted to break into her house. The resident had found damage to the door handle and to the door frame.

MARCH 14

12:11 a.m., 400 Blk Rosewood – A caller reported a male dressed in all black attempting to open a neighbor’s car door. The caller stated that after he was unable to get the door open, he left the location.

8:55 a.m., 900 Blk Adler – A caller reported someone had broken into their storage unit and stolen some of their tools from it.

12:08 p.m., 400 Blk W Bandera Rd – An employee reported a damaged vehicle that had been sitting in the parking lot for almost a week. However, the vehicle was on private property and was not the city’s responsibility for it to be towed.

1:44 p.m., 100 Blk Moss Rose – A resident reported that someone had stolen items from inside his Amazon box.

2:00 p.m., Blanco/Main - A two-vehicle accident occurred. One of the occupants was reporting experiencing lower back pain. EMS was contacted to provide medical assistance.

MARCH 08

1:23 a.m., 536 MM E I-10 – An individual was detained after being pulled over for a routine traffic stop.

3:01 a.m., 100 Blk Walnut Grove – A caller reported they suspected their vehicle had been messed with because the hood of her vehicle was up. While on the phone with dispatch, the caller reported that they heard someone outside their residence. Law enforcement did not find any evidence of suspicious activity.

10:17 a.m., 30000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported someone had returned a rental vehicle they had damaged and were not going to pay for the damages.

2:32 p.m., 300 Blk FM 1376 – A donkey and a goat were walking down Sisterdale Road looking for a late lunch.

2:40 p.m., 10 Blk N FM 3351 – A driver reported they were being followed by an aggressive vehicle. While speaking with the dispatcher, the driver reported the other vehicle was attempting to block them off and was attempting to break their windows.

7:24 p.m., Fuller Rd/Trophy Dr – A large fire was reported, with flames as high as 12 feet in the air. The Bergheim Fire Department was called to the scene and extinguished the fire. Those involved were advised of the burn ban in place.

MARCH 09

3:47 a.m., N Hwy 87 – An 18-wheeler’s engine was reported to be on fire. The employees and truck drivers were attempting to extinguish the fire with the available hose and water but the fire continued growing. The Comfort FD was called and successfully got the fire under control.

8:07 a.m., Old #9/Yellowjacket Ln – Ten cows were found going for a morning stroll down the road.

3:07 p.m., 500 Blk Sunflower – A property manager was reporting that they had heard about a tenant soliciting drugs from multiple other tenants.

3:12 p.m., 200 Blk Saddle Wood Trail – A resident reported that someone had cut the chain on his gate and put their own lock on it. The resident disclaimed they had not been to that gate in months and were unsure when this could have happened.

11:00 p.m., 800 Blk FM 289 – A caller reported two minor females walking barefoot down the road, followed by two individuals claiming to be their foster parents. Law enforcement arrived and one of the minors was transported to receive medical attention.

MARCH 13

12:39 p.m., 542 MM W I-10 – A five-vehicle accident occurred by the interstate exit ramp. The left lane of the interstate was temporarily shut down. Five wreckers were called to the scene for each respective vehicle. The fire department was called to the scene due to the large amount of oil in the road. There were luckily no injuries.

2:41 p.m., 100 Blk Woodland Blvd – A caller reported a forgery of the Attorney General’s notary’s signature on a family law document.

3:44 p.m., High Street Rd – A caller reported that his brother-in-law was following him and threatening to shoot him. The caller told dispatch the brother-in-law had made the threat the previous evening. The brother-inlaw was waiting for the caller when he got home. The caller further believed he may be heavily intoxicated.

10:16 p.m., 100 Blk Destiny – A caller reported four teenagers dingdong- ditching houses in the area. The caller reported additional law enforcement patrol.

MARCH 14

12:32 a.m., 100 Blk Mountain Springs Dr – A caller reported their friend was threatening to hurt his father with a handgun. The friend’s father was visiting from out of town. The caller revealed they had heard about the threat through social media. The friend was pulled over and temporarily detained.

5:26 a.m., 40000 Blk W I-10 – A caller reported seeing a storage unit under suspicious circumstances close to her house. The caller reported that she saw a light on inside the unit, and that she saw a piece of wood propping open the unit. Law enforcement examined the unit and found the door would not properly close; however, the unit belonged to the neighbors. Law enforcement stated they would be contacted later in the day.

8:00 a.m., 100 Blk Wall Street – A resident reported her dog was attacked by a German Shepherd and this was not the first time this had happened.

9:26 a.m., 600 Blk W Bandera – A driver reported a male and female walking around a parking lot by the access roads. The driver noted the two individuals repeatedly walked up to a vehicle where it appeared another male was sleeping. The two individuals kept approaching people.

10:33 a.m., Ammann Road – A caller reported a towing company had his vehicle and were refusing to give it back to him.

1:55 p.m., 200 Blk Sabinas Creek Ranch – A concerned citizen reported a suspected spam call. The caller told the citizen an agency had intercepted a package from Mexico containing illegal substances.

2:22 p.m., 300 Blk Saddle Mountain Drive – A caller reported a company was clearing land at his parent’s property. The caller had asked the company to vacate the premises and they refused.
