The Boerne High boys soccer team was on the road Tuesday at Wimberley in pursuit of an undefeated district record.
After the Greyhounds took down the Texans on Tuesday, 6-0, they are one win away from finishing out 26-4A action with a perfect mark.
Boerne is 11-0 in district and 21-3-2 overall. They are off for spring break and won’t play Canyon Lake until the Monday after they return from the break as they look to go 12-0 in league play.
In Tuesday’s match at Wimberley, Joe Ballenger and Logan Walter finished with 2 goals apiece, while Bear Kelly and Fernando Palacios tallied singles goals each.
All six of the goals were assisted after Jess Gonzales recorded 3 of the assists, while Jake Herman, Ballenger and Palacios all finished with 1 assist in the match.
