The Boerne Champion boys soccer squad stayed unbeaten this year after the Chargers picked up its most lopsided win of the year Tuesday at Tivy.
Champion shutout the Antlers 7-0 and improved to 7-0-1 overall and 4-0 in District 26-5A. They are home Friday to play Pieper.
Champion charged out of the gate and held a 4-0 lead at halftime during Tuesday’s match in Kerrville. They tacked on three more goals against Tivy in the second half to finish off the Antlers.
Jones Ferguson tallied 2 goals in Tuesday’s match, while Alfredo Castellanos, Matthew Magaw, Nathan Bell, Bentley McCool and Grayson Moran all recorded 1 goal apiece.
Grayson Moran finished with 2 assists and Alfredo Casrellanos, Jones Ferguson and Crew Pulliam all had 1 assist in the match.
