After almost 2 decades of teaching music, she decided to get her Masters Degree in Library Science and became an over-qualified Librarian in the Spring Branch ISD, but being a Born-Again Believer, she was always involved in music at their local churches. travelled all over the world, living in Saudi Arabia and Japan for several years. Upon retiring, she focused more on her Christian music, whether as the church Choir Director, Organist, Pianist or playing French horn in the church orchestra at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, where Lila was a member and on Staff for over 20 years. If that wasn’t enough, she was appointed to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Medicine, where she served for several years. Lila’s hard upbringing developed an attitude in her of always sharing. So, she and Ed joyfully shared their God-given gifts in the Methodist, Baptist and Presbyterian churches until each went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
