The Lady Greyhounds basketball team has only played 21 games this year but has already reached the 20-win plateau.
BHS hit the milestone last Friday after they defeated San Marcos. Boerne won the last game of 2022 and is 20-1 overall after rustling past the Lady Rattlers, 46-34.
Boerne resumed district play Tuesday when they hosted Wimberley. They’ll play at Navarro Friday.
The Lady Greyhounds had two in double digits after Jamie Ruede tallied 14 points and Averi Aaron dropped in 13. Abby Smith netted 8 points, Savannah Salinas scored 6, Jenna Ruede hit a 3-pointer, while Taegan King and Sushanna Cobb both made free throws.
Jenna Ruede led the team in assists with 6, Jamie Ruede had 4 assists and 4 steals, while Abby Smith grabbed 6 rebounds.
