Both the Geneva School of Boerne boys and girls varsity basketball teams were in action last weekend, and both dropped games to other private schools in non-district action.
The Geneva boys fell by 10 points to FEAST on Saturday, 64-54, while the Lady Eagles were defeated by Antonian on Friday, 53-31.
The Geneva varsity basketball teams will be off until they help to co-host the Hill Country Classic Tournament on Dec. 28-30, at Geneva.
In the boys game, Christian Huber paced the Patriots with 29 points on 11 of 22 shooting, while Brady Sansano added 16 points and Bo Schott scored 13 to drop Geneva to 14-6 overall.
In the girls game, Geneva fell behind early and made a late push but came up short, 53-31.
Antonian was winning 10-6 after one and then outscored the Eagles in the second, 14-4, for the 24-10 halftime lead.
Geneva was held to single digits again in the third with 9 points as the Apaches dropped in 11 for the 35- 19 advantage going into the fourth quarter.
The Lady Eagles finally hit in double digits with 12 points in the final stanza, but they were still outscored by Antonian, 18-12.
The Apaches had three players in double figures after Shaniyah Fox tallied 19, Ella Nietz scored 14 and Emma Copeland finished with 10.
