Frances was born on Aug.18, 1925, in Jefferson, Wisconsin, and received a scholarship to attend St. Mary’s Academy in Milwaukee, in 1940. She met the love of her life while attending Nursing School during WWII, being introduced to her future husband via mail correspondence to him while Maury fought in Europe.

It was her future motherin- law, Olga Glende, who suggested they write each other, and they were married shortly after the war ended in 1946.

Fran was full-time mother of six and as her children got old enough, she worked many jobs and was ultimately a very successful office manager for several dentists in Illinois and Arizona.

She was a great teacher and emphasized the spiritual importance of putting God first in all things. This was exemplified by her Faith in God, her prayer life, and her prioritization of service for others. Her sharp mind and her firm yet gentle persuasive ways and of course that spark she could convey will always be remembered by those who love her.

A celebration of Fran’s life will take place on Jan. 8, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. The Service will be in Boerne, Texas, at the Ebensberger- Fisher Funeral Home with reception to follow.
