BOERNE– The city continues one of its greatest Christmas traditions with the 35th-Annual Weihnachts Parade on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at 6 p.m. in downtown Boerne.
The parade route will run along Main Street from North Street south across Cibolo Creek to Hosack Street. The parade route along Main Street will close to traffic at 4:30 p.m. Saturday and all cars must be off the parade route at that time.
Please allow extra time to commute through downtown Saturday afternoon through the end of the parade. Detours will be in place and police officers will be on hand to direct traffic.
The Grand Marshal for this year’s Weihnachts Parade is Mike Osterhage, a meteorologist and co-host of SA Live on KSAT-TV in San Antonio.
Bring out the whole family for this fun and free event! Be sure to bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds as the parade of nearly 100 floats makes its way down the Hill Country Mile in downtown Boerne.
The Weihnachts Parade is part of a A Dickens Celebration – a holiday extravaganza spanning four weekends in Boerne leading up to Christmas.
