Girls basketball, swim seasons up next

The girls high school basketball season is pretty much here, ready or not.

The girls high school basketball season is pretty much here, ready or not.

All four county schools will be at home to start their 2022-23 seasons.

The Lady Hounds host Medina Valley on Tuesday at Greyhound Gym at 6:30 p.m.

Champion welcomes Marshall at Charger Gym at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday and will play in the Rouse tournament next weekend.

Comfort is at home and welcomes Nueces Canyon on Tuesday, while Geneva School of Boerne plays this weekend. The Eagles played Friday against Regents and host Randolph on Saturday at 1 p.m.

On Tuesday, Geneva welcomes Mason at 7:30 p.m.

Swim The swim season is under way after Geneva recently competed in a meet, while the Greyhounds and Chargers are in action this week.

The BISD schools were in a meet earlier in the season and the Hounds were scheduled to be at the SAISD meet on Thursday and the Chargers are entered in the David Johnson Fall Classic at NEISD this weekend.
