Both the Boerne High and Boerne Champion varsity cross country teams will race this weekend at the UIL state meet in Round Rock at Old Settler’s Park.
The Greyhounds will race Friday morning and the Chargers will run Saturday morning.
The Lady Chargers won the Region IV-5A title and the Champion boys team placed second at regionals last week in Corpus Christi.
The 5A girls’ state race is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday morning and the boys race follows at 10:40 a.m.
At regionals last week, the Boerne High boys took second as a team, while the Lady Greyhounds were fourth.
The 4A state meet is Friday and the girls run at 8:30 a.m. and the boys compete at 9 a.m.
