Comfort High hosted the FEAST volleyball team on Tuesday and the Deer won a five-set thriller.
Comfort fell behind in games 2-1 but won the last two sets to earn the victory. The Deer recorded the 25-19, 14-25, 18-25, 26-24, 15-13 win and improved to 15-8 on the season.
Comfort still has a few more matches before opening district play on Sept. 20 at Llano. They are scheduled to be off Friday and play two non-district matches at home next week.
