Geneva defeats Comfort Friday

Comfort High made the short drive to Boerne and challenged the Geneva School of Boerne volleyball team in a non-district match on Friday.

Because of football considerations, the teams agreed on a 5 p.m. first serve and they were done early after the Lady Eagles rolled to a three-set win, 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Geneva improves to 13-12 overall and the Deer drop to 14-8 overall.

Both Kendall County teams continue non-district play Tuesday with Geneva hosting Harper and Comfort welcoming FEAST.

Karynn Garrow paced the Eagles with 20 kills and 6 digs, while Ella Babic added 12 kills and 6 aces. Ella Owens finished with 24 assists and recorded the team’s only block, while Kenzie Cates had 7 assists and 6 digs, Avery Eggerss tallied 14 digs and Cammy Curtis chipped in with 3 aces.
