Tapatio Ladies Club

Tapatio Ladies Club

The Tapatio Ladies Club board recently met to plan programs and activities for the 2022-23 year. The club helps many organizations and causes in Kendall County, which includes providing scholarships every year to local students. Last year, the club gave school supplies to Sam’s Kids, which is supported by the Boerne Independent School District, and Walmart gift certificates to needy families that were sponsored by Hill Country Family Services. Also, it gave monetary donations and supplies to Hill Country Women’s Shelter, Kendall County Animal Shelter, Meals on Wheels at Kronkosky Place, Boerne Volunteer Fire Department, Patrick Heath Public Library and more. Fall activities begin on Sept. 19 with a program and luncheon. Pictured are, from left, front row: Carolyn Akers, Kelly Railsback, Mary Ann Peterson and Priscilla Lurtz.
