Boerne High was entered in the Goliad Volleyball Tournament last weekend where the Lady Greyhounds posted a 3-2 record.
BHS finished fifth at Goliad and is now 14-7 overall. The Lady Hounds were on the road Tuesday at Floresville and then return home Friday to take on South San, 6 p.m.
At the tourney, Boerne’s final one of the regular season, the Lady Hounds opened with a two-set loss to Port Lavaca Calhoun, 25-18, 25-7.
Up next, BHS went three with Victoria East before winning, 25-12, 22-25, 15-8. Tori Adams had a big match with 19 kills and 18 digs, while Tana Lux finished with 24 assists.
Also on Friday, the Lady Hounds picked up another win, this time against Hallettsville in two sets, 25-17, 25-15.
Boerne High returned on Saturday and dropped a match to Goliad in three sets. All the games were close but the host school prevailed, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13. Tana Lux finished with 14 assists and 10 digs, while Tori Adams had another double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs.
In its final match of the day, Boerne defeated Edna, 25-10, 25-19 after Corinne Coale and Paige Stegall recorded four kills each.
