There was only one goal scored when the Boerne High boys soccer team hosted 6A New Braunfels at BISD Stadium and it was the Greyhounds who tallied it late in Tuesday’s match.

BHS broke open a scoreless match with only six minutes left and went on to record the 1-0 win.

The Greyhounds are 3-2 overall and scheduled to play in the Progreso Tournament in the Rio Grande Valley this weekend.

Tuesday’s match was 0-0 until Justin Moore found the back of the net on the assist from Landon Murphy to break the tie.

From there, the Greyhound defense preserved the shutout.
