Kick … run … splash

The Cibolo Center for Conservation is wrapping up its summer youth camps. This week, youngsters participated in an activities camp where they enjoyed things like archery and water kickball, which is played like regular kickball except the bases are small pools filled with water. One of the children having a great time was Poppy Johnson, first three pictures, who gave it her all as she launched herself into the first-base pool and made a big splash in the process. Others who played included Coralie Flores, who under the direction of counselor Bailey Asher runs to first base after a kick while teammate Whitt Johnson prepares to head for second base.
