Marjorie Ann Tidwell

Marjorie Ann Tidwell, 90, died July 15, 2022, in Boerne, Texas, due to natural causes.

She is survived by her brother, Robert; three of her four children, Mike, Greg and Sharon; grandchildren Sam, Taylor, Clayton, Avery and Dellene; and great-grandson Eldon.

Marje was born on a ranch in rural Metz, California, to Leonard and Mable Wilkinson in 1931 and attended Soledad Elementary and King City High School. After high school, she lived in “the city” (San Francisco) and worked as a secretary for the Army Corp of Engineers before returning to Greenfield to marry her future husband, Velton Tidwell.

Marje worked primarily as a homemaker raising her four children, always stressing hard work, civic responsibility and education. She was an avid reader and world traveler, advocate of healthy living and devoted caregiver to her youngest disabled daughter.
