LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 15
12:18 a.m., 31400 block I-10 E.- A man was arrested after he left with a fishing pool and backpack on foot toward Scenic Loop Road.
1:39 a.m., 200 block Horse Hill- A woman reported two teenage boys were threatening to come into her home.
2:08 a.m., 32900 block I-10 W.- Two guys attempted to remove a boot a man put on an RV. The two men were detained by officers.
8:46 a.m., 90 block Destiny- An 18-year-old woman said her father assaulted her and kicked her out of the house. The father said the daughter assaulted him and began throwing things around before leaving.
3:53 p.m., 100 block Herff Ranch- A woman reported the American flag was being flown in the neighborhood and wanted it corrected. Officers attempted to reach the HOA, but no one answered.
11:04 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman tracked her 16-yearold daughter with an AirTag who she said was supposed to be home. She updated officers repeatedly. Officers caught up with the teenager by 1:19 a.m. and brought her to the police department to be picked up by her mother.
June 16
7:15 a.m., 200 block S. Main St.- A teenage boy was reported as sleeping on a bench behind a building in the area.
10:21 a.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- An employee at Alamo Fiesta RV said several people heard shots fired the night before and there was now a dead pig on Old San Antonio Road. She kept blaming it on two boys who live in the area. 12:59 p.m., 701 Oak Park Dr.- A woman reported she was trying to leave her boyfriend’s apartment, but he kept kicking her stuff around while she was trying to pack up. The boyfriend left, and the argument didn’t appear to become physical.
3:48 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- A manager with H-E-B had a woman in their office for shoplifting.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
June 15
5:32 a.m., FM 1376 and Walnut Grove Road- A Jeep rolled over onto its side, but a passerby didn’t see anyone in or around the vehicle. Emergency services were cancelled once the driver was found.
11:49 a.m., 300 block Ammann Rd.- Ten to 12 cows took a dip in the creek on the side of the road.
4:52 p.m., 50 block Sabinas Creek- A man needed to file a police report for material stolen in March to satisfy his insurance claim.
6:30 p.m., 100 block FM 3351 S.- A woman said her husband forged her name on an insurance check and cashed it.
10:36 p.m., 100 block Honeycomb Dr.- A man heard a woman scream, adding she may have been screaming for help. Deputies searched the aera and walked a nearby pasture but found nobody.
June 16
1:28 p.m., 100 block Daniel Dr.- A woman followed up with deputies about a man who continued to refuse to give her two saddles she purchased despite cashing the checks she wrote. Deputies con tacted him, and he said he’d mail them the next day. Deputies warned him he’d face theft charges if he didn’t follow through this time.
1:41 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A vehicle was reported stolen in the county.
1:44 p.m., 10100 block Johns Rd.- An emergency room nurse reported a man who came in with a gunshot wound to his arm, which he said happened accidentally while he was cleaning his weapon.
6:46 p.m., 100 block Wall St.- A woman had it with the three unknown dogs that stopped by her pool for a daily dip.
10:31 p.m., Staudt Street- A woman attempted to turn in her child who was the driver of a vehicle pursued by officers in Fair Oaks Ranch the night before. No warrant had been issued yet.
