Serving the Lord – and others

Boerne’s City Hill Church played host to a “Serve Day” on Saturday morning as members pumped $20 of free gasoline on a first-come, first-served basis at the Exxon Service Station on Esser Road at the intersection of Highway 46 to anyone who showed up. The church set aside a portion of its missions budget to use for the giveaway and pumped the free gas in service to Jesus Christ and the community until the funds were gone.
