LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

May 31

8:28 a.m., 540 MM I-10 W.- An older man driving with one headlight out was reported as almost hitting three cars and driving in the middle of the lane.

1:22 a.m., 32300 block I-10 W.- A man was arrested after Tilson Homes staff reported locking their doors due to people jumping their fence. This was connected to an accident on the interstate in the call sheets, but it’s unclear how.

7:41 p.m., 1000 Diamond- A man saw on surveillance footage that BPD officers were knocking on his door and wanted to know why. A few hours later he showed up at the BPD lobby so his son could turn himself in. Officers were originally trying to serve an arrest warrant for his son.

June 2

Midnight, 539 MM I-10 E.- A driver saw two men stumbling their way down the side of the road, and he was concerned they’d stumble into the road.

12:41 p.m., Bandera Road and Frey Street- A resident reported two young girls riding around the area on scooters, saying their mother works nights and may not know her daughters riding around.

1:35 p.m., 600 block W. Bandera Rd.- A man in a truck pulled up next to a man on a motorcycle in the Home Depot parking lot and told the biker he’d shoot a motorcycle rider.

7:13 p.m., 100 block W. Blanco Rd.- A woman was concerned about a dog left inside a car because the animal appeared to be in distress.

7:47 p.m., 216 Ivy- A man reported his mother’s neighbor notified him that someone appeared to be breaking into his mother’s apartment. When he got to the residence, he found damage to a window and back door.

11:43 p.m., 512 River Rd.- A man fell asleep at the bar at Salvador Dobbs. When employees asked him to leave, a fight broke out and the man punched an employee. Security held the man down.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

May 31

10:26 a.m., 538 MM I-10 E.- Eight individuals were detained, four of which were in the cabin and four were hiding in the bed of the truck. Two of the eight were arrested and taken to the Kendall County jail.

11:50 a.m., 200 block Wall St.- A 9-year-old boy was left sitting in front a woman’s home with a “deep cut on his back.” The boy told the homeowner, who called 911, that his 16-yearold sister hit him causing the cut and pushed him out of the house. The boy’s grandmother picked him up.

11:58 a.m., 100 block Ten West Dr.- A man was using the phone his ex-wife was paying for to threaten to kill her and burn her house down. She suspected he was on meth.

June 1

5:14 a.m., 533 MM I-10 W.- A man was transported to the emergency room after he contacted multiple law enforcement jurisdictions claiming he was being followed by semi trucks and other vehicles.

7:24 a.m., Johns Road and Deer Lake Drive- A black cow took to the streets.

10:52 a.m., 600 block Front St.- A vehicle with Canadian plates was reported as abandoned.

11:41 a.m., 100 block Amber Dr.- A woman reported a person for living in their car behind Lowes Market.

11:53 a.m., 527 MM I-10 E.- Two men were arrested during a traffic stop.

3:57 p.m., 2500 block FM 473- A single vehicle rollover appeared to result in no injuries as the driver called their own tow truck and the vehicle landed upright on its wheels.

5:39 P.M., 100 block Sage Oaks Trail- A woman was concerned about a vehicle parked directly across from the community mailboxes. He was working as a private investigator and let deputies know he planned to be in the area the next day as well.

10:34 p.m., 300 block Whitworth Rd.- A woman just wanted deputies to note that her drunk husband locked her out of their home and passed out.

June 2

6:34 a.m., 1800 block FM 1376- Two wreckers were called for a three-car accident.

12:11 p.m., 100 block Sage Oaks Trail- A resident called deputies on the private investigator by the mailboxes again. Another resident called back at 5:48 p.m. wanting to know why the investigator was there looking into a shooting. Deputies determined the man had a legitimate reason to be there.

2:48 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A man tracked the location of a vehicle stolen from him when a man bought it using counterfeit money. By 4:30 p.m., a towing company had possession of the vehicle.

4:33 p.m., 300 block Hwy 46 W.- A woman saw a man on a motorcycle wreck in her rearview mirror, but she wasn’t sure if he was injured. While deputies found a downed fence in the are, they never found the man or his bike.

6:43 p.m., 1435 E. Main St., Fredericksburg- Two men were arrested, and one male child was transported to Gillespie County.

8:42 p.m., 1000 Diamond- A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.

9:01 p.m., 1000 Diamond- Two men were reported as prowling the area, but deputies were unable to locate them.
