Star to help Hope for Heroes Texas through subscription drive

The Boerne Star is partnering with a local nonprofit through a special subscription drive this month.

Throughout July, The Star will donate $6 from every paid subscription to Hope for Heroes Texas.

“At Hope for Heroes Texas, first responders are our passion,” infor mation on its website reads. “We are committed to those in our communities who selflessly dedicate their lives to protecting ours. They serve day and night in the most challenging circumstances – facing danger, injury, sickness, and even death – to ensure our safety and health. And now, it’s our turn to give back to those who so selflessly give their all.”
