Champion golf team hosts awards ceremony

At the recent Boerne Champion golf team awards ceremony in the school library, several individual awards were handed out to players.

At the recent Boerne Champion golf team awards ceremony in the school library, several individual awards were handed out to players.

Maximus Cavazos received a certificate for having the lowest tournament average with a 74.6 and also received the ChargerTEAMgolf award, while Roy Barrera IV also received the Charger-TEAMgolf award.

Savannah Dupre received a certificate after she had the lowest tournament average for the girls team with a 78.8 and she also earned the ChargerTEAMgolf award, while Tru Love earned the ChargerTEAMgolf award.

Also for the Chargers, Maximus Cavazos, Halle Vandersloot, Tru Love, Jocelyn Nevarez and Roy Barrera IV were named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Team and were recognized with a certificate.
