Galloway named Team MVP, also plays in state all-star game

Boerne High’s Rashawn Galloway played in the recent Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association state-wide All-Star game held Father’s Day weekend at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

Galloway was also named the Boerne High baseball Team MVP at the team’s recent awards ceremony. Besides Galloway other Greyhound players receiving awards at the ceremony were Kalob Sanchez who received the Fighting Heart Award, while Max Garcia and Gabe Herrera earned the Lunch Bucket Award after showing a great attitude, great enthusiasm and a teamfirst attitude during the season, according to coach Bill Merrell.
