David John Belter

David John Belter, 48, of Boerne, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, with a recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with a committal to follow at the Boerne Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
David is survived by his parents, John and Jeanette Belter; his brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Veronica; his nephew, Linden Henry; his niece, Grace Marie Belter; and many relatives of the Tarrillion, Baumi and Belter clans.
David was born in Austin, Texas, on June 8, 1973. His education included St. Luke Catholic School in San Antonio, the Boerne High School Class of 1991 and some college. He enjoyed his work at Double Diamond for a few years before he moved to Blanco, where he lived and worked for 12 years and where he was known as “Big Dave” and loved by all who met him.

He then moved back to Boerne, where he was always trustworthy and worked hard at H-E-B in Bulverde for seven years.

All his life, David was always soft spoken and always ready to help out anyone in need. He never hurt anyone all his short life. Family was always important to him.
Our “Gentle Giant” will always be missed.
