Virginia “Ginny” Ann Lamberton was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her class, charm, and humor could light up any room. She left this world peacefully on April 13, 2022, and will be greatly missed.

Ginny was born in Vernon, Texas, to Walter and Florene Underwood Gardner on December 8, 1941. She met the love of her life, Frank Lamberton, in high school and was married shortly after. Ginny supported Frank in his successful business by caring for their household and raising their two children, Tammy and Frank.

She was very skilled at interior design and had a love for cross stitching. She loved collecting gorgeous antiques and filling her home with beautiful, handmade art. Ginny spent a lot of time traveling with her grandkids via land and sea. Whether stepping off a sailboat or out of an RV, she was always dressed to impress.

Ginny is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; both of her children, Tammy and Frank; and her brothers, Freddie and Lonnie Gardner. She is survived by her grandchildren, Stephen Lamberton, Nicole Raney, Sean Miftari, Micheal David Lamberton and Chelsi Lamberton; and great-grandchildren Dylan Sanders, Devan Sanders and Emilia Lamberton.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas. Burial service at Sunset Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow. Flowers may be sent to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
