Geneva track and field teams at regionals

Several Geneva School of Boerne track and field athletes competed at the TAPPS 5A South Regional and won several medals.

Isabella Godoy was 1st in the 800 and 1600 races, Avery Myrick placed 2nd in the discus, Nicholas Siller came in 3rd in the 3200 and 1600, while the 4x400 relay of Kaitlyn Cates, Kailey Stringfellow, Lindsie Baggs and Isabella Godoy placed 3rd.

Siller ran times of 9:51 and 9:47 at district at regionals, both school records when he ran them.

The TAPPS 5A state track meet was held last weekend where they picked up 4 state medals. For results, see the Star.
