Eight BISD soccer players named all-tournament at state tourney

Boerne ISD had a record three soccer teams at this year’s state tournament and eight of those players were named to their respective classification’s all-tournament teams.

For the state champion Boerne High boys, junior midfielder Jess Gonzales, junior goalkeeper Noah LeMaster, senior midfielder Landon Murphy and senior midfielder Sam Theiss were named to the boys 4A all-tournament team.

For the Boerne High girls team that finished tied for third in the state, junior midfielder Madeline Davis and senior Regina Hernandez were both named to the 4A all-tournament team.

For the Champion girls team that finished tied for third in the state, junior defender Skyleigh Arnold and senior forward Vivian Garza were both named to the 5A all-tournament team.
