Johnny Rodriguez Jr.

Johnny Rodriguez Jr., 55, of Boerne, passed away on April 13, 2022. A celebration of life is to be determined.
Johnny was born on October 14, 1966 in Abilene, Texas, to Johnny Rodriguez Sr. and Rita Villarreal. Johnny married the love of his life, Mindy, on March 23, 2013. They had eight wonderful children together. He worked for Fortiline Waterworks and was a very loved and cherished employee.
Johnny loved two-stepping with his queen, gaming, Star Trek, building computers and working on cars. He always had a cup of coffee in his hand and a dip of snuff in his lip. He loved God, the country and always said, “If you can throw a rock and hit next door, you’re too close!” He loved horses and wearing his cowboy hat.
His most precious moments were spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He never knew a stranger; everybody was his friend. He was a happy, hardworking provider for his family. Johnny was a simple, happy man who loved his life. He will be sorely missed and has left a huge hole in our hearts. He is our legacy and we will forever keep his memory alive.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Mindy Rodriguez; his eight children, Brandon Tulcus, Jessica Rodriguez, Bethaney Rodriguez, Jacqualyn Hernandez, Ryder Rodriguez, Rabeccah San Miguel, Hannah Hudson and Connor Rodriguez; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Rodriguez Sr. and Rita Villarreal.
