Boerne Champion had a total of six basketball players named to one of the girls All-District 26-5A teams.
Senior Khiara Flugence was named the District 26-5A MVP, senior Kristen Borgerding was a first-team selection and junior Madyson Marquard was also a first-team selection.
Senior Kendall Skipper was a second-team pick and sophomore Adriana Barreiro was also a second-team selection.
Also, senior Emily Plank was named honorable mention for the Chargers team that ended the year at 26-8 overall and was 13-3 in district to finish third. The Chargers opened the playoffs against Georgetown and lost a low-scoring contest, 27-15.
Flugence
The honors continued to pour in for Flugence who was also named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Region IV-5A Team and was only one of 20 5A players from Region IV to receive the honor.
Flugence also finished out her career by passing the 1,000-point plateau and was selected for two all-star games.
