The Champion cheerleaders had a great year supporting Charger athletics. They recently traveled to Fort Worth to compete in the UIL Spirit State Championships.
After a super strong performance in the prelims, the Chargers advanced to the finals, or top 20 teams.
Charger Cheer placed 11th overall for its highest placement at state. They were 11th out of 66 squads in the 5A-DII division. “We are so proud of this great accomplishment. These cheerleaders worked so hard and it showed,” said cheer coach Denise Stripling.
