BOERNE — Vic Vaughan Toyota of Boerne, a leading Toyota dealership known for its customer service and deep-rooted commitment to the community, broke ground April 8 on a new, state-of-theart service center at its location at 31205 Interstate 10 West in Boerne.

The expansion will significantly enhance service capabilities, allowing Vaughan Toyota to better serve its growing customer base with the latest automotive technologies and sustainability initiatives.

Spanning 28,639 square feet, the new service center will bring the total service department square footage to 39,054 square feet, making it one of the largest and most advanced in the region and in Texas.

The facility will double the existing 19-bay service drive to 48 bays, enabling the center to service 200-plus vehicles per day.

“As our dealership continues to grow, so does our commitment to providing an unparalleled service experience for our customers,” said Shawn Vaughan, Vaughan Automotive Dealer Principal and CEO.

“This new facility will not only expand our capacity but also introduce cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices,” Vaughan said, “reinforcing our dedication to innovation and environmental responsibility.”

The expanded service center will introduce significant enhancements to improve customer experience and operational efficiency, according to Vaughan management. With the expansion, Vaughan Toyota will grow its service team to more than 100 employees and technicians, supporting a total workforce of 290.

The facility will also feature all-new, state-of-the-art service technology and equipment, designed to optimize efficiency and precision in vehicle maintenance and repairs. Additionally, in alignment with Vaughan Toyota’s commitment to sustainability, the new service center will incorporate rainwater collection for more eco-friendly operations.

The new facility is being constructed by SPD, the project's general contractor. Once completed, the expansion will bring Vaughan Toyota’s total dealership square footage to 81,136 square feet across 17.82 acres.

With 20,000-plus service customers annually, the investment in this new facility, officials said, reinforced Vaughan Toyota’s “dedication to providing the fastest, most efficient, and customer- centric service experience in the region.”

The new service center is expected to be complete in 18 to 22 months. The Vaughan Toyota service center is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
