The tennis teams from Boerne ISD played in one last tournament before beginning postseason play this week at district in Kerrville.
Boerne High and Boerne Champion helped to co-host the Boerne ISD tourney held on the courts at BHS, Champion and BMSS last weekend.
For the Chargers, Serena Sharma placed 2nd in girls singles, Christian Okey and Ben Nicholson won boys consolation doubles, while Kayden Cantu and Alex-andra Morris took 1st place in girls consolation dou-bles.
BHS coach Tyson Stewart said he didn’t have anybody medal at last week’s tournament.
District play started Thursday and concluded Friday. The top two entries in each classification advance to regionals in Corpus Christi.
