Barbara June Hedge

February 2, 1933 – April 9, 2022

Barbara June Hedge went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 9, 2022, in Boerne Texas at the age of 89. Barbara’s life exhibited love, joy, peace, patience, humor, kindness, goodness and self-control. She served as a shining example of what love and devotion to God and family should be.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Hedge; and her parents, J.T. and Otillie Bright.

Barbara is survived by her son, Michael S. Hedge and his wife, Lizzie; daughters Deborah L. Walters and husband Perry, Angie K. Gill, Amy C. Kolb and her husband, Rick; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Each and every one of them were loved by their Granny Hedge.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N. Loop 1604, San Antonio. A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2002, at Porter Loring Chapel North with a reception at 2 p.m. at Porter Loring North Reflection Room.
