Stacie Marie Shank, age 51, of Springville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her residence.

She was a homemaker who loved horses and taking rides, her dogs, wildlife, birdwatching, wildflowers, naming the squirrels and deer, reading books, taking people on “buggy” rides through the woods and playing games and cards with new friends and family. She currently served as treasurer for Paris Landing Senior Citizens Center.

She was married to Kenton E. Shank, who survives, of Springville, Tennessee.  

Stacie was born August 4, 1971, in Oxnard, California, to Horace (Bud) Gray and Kathryn (Kay) Crow Gray, of Ventura, California, who both survive.

Along with her parents and husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Nathan) Hayes of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Mike (Celeste) Gray of Ventura, California; two grandchildren, Jeremy Reed and Taten Hayes; grandmother Leta Croxen of Ventura, California; one uncle, Roger Crow of Ventura, California; and two brothers-in-law, Terry (Theta) Shank of Rome, Georgia, and Vic (Lisa) Shank of Dowagiac, Michigan. She is also survived by nephews and nieces Dillan Gray and Toby Gray of California; Annie (Chad) Wolfe of Texas; Jason (Lauren) Shank and Maggie (Charlie) Bergen of Georgia; Jeremy (Jessica) Shank of Michigan; and Tori (Alex) Weeks of Florida.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  

The body is to be cremated and graveside services will be held in Camarillo, California, on May 14, 2022, with local celebrations of life to be held in Boerne, Texas, and Springville, Tennessee, at dates to be announced.
