Mardi Gras time

Mardi Gras has something for everyone: parades, costumes, tasty foods and music and dancing. Mardi Gras means “Fat Tuesday” in French. It is a colorful celebration that takes place the day before the Christian Lent. Lent is when many Christians give up favorite foods and activities for 40 days. Fat Tuesday is a time to load up on rich and fatty foods and noisy, colorful activities.
